Augustus Z. Davis of Winter Haven, Florida passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at the South Georgia Medical Center.

He was born December 30, 1939 in Lake Wales, Florida to the late Willard and Viva (Merritt) Davis. He has been a lifelong resident of the area. He was a Rancher and a member of the Lone Oak Baptist Church in Plant City. He was a veteran in the United States Army.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years Judy Davis, daughters Gayle Ledford and husband Robert of Madison, FL, Karla Thompson and husband Greg of University Place, WA, brother Paul Davis and wife Marilyn of FL, 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held 10:00am Saturday, October 5, 2019 until service time at 11am at the Lone Oak Baptist Church (3505 Lone Oak Rd. Plant City, FL) Interment will be private.
