Dolly Ellis Woodley, 77 of Frostproof, Florida passed away, Sunday, May 13, 2018 at her residence.

She was born on March 3, 1941 in Frostproof, Florida to the late A.B. Ellis, Sr. and Eva Ruth (McRae) Ellis, and she has been a lifelong resident of this area. She was a retired Elementary School Para Professional at Frostproof Elementary. Dolly was a very active member of Lake Wales OES, Past 4-H Polk County President, she loved her students dearly and made an impact on her community. Dolly was a member of the First Baptist Church of Frostproof and her hobby was her orange groves. She had no strangers at her dinner table feeding them physically and spiritually.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Adam, A.B. Ellis Jr., Ruby Benton, Julia Livingston, Minnie Dempsey and Billy Ellis all of Frostproof.

Survivors include her son, Michael Ellis Woodley of Frostproof; daughter, Beth Brown of Frostproof; 4 grandchildren, Andrew Chavis, Sarah Beth Brown, Joshua Brown, Sadie Jade; many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 19, 2018 from 10:00 am until service time at 11:00 at the First Baptist Church of Frostproof with Rev. Darrol Hood officiating.
