Erika T. McMillan, 91, of Haines City passed away on Friday, December 21, 2018. She was born on March 20, 1927 in Frankfurt, Germany and moved to America in 1947. Erika was a L.P.N, working for both Winter Haven Hospital and the original Heart of Florida. She attended Faith Lutheran Church in Haines City and loved to spend time with her children and to read the bible. In her younger years she had a true passion for drawing and oil painting and in later years she took to keeping journals of her times. She was predeceased by her husband, Dewey McMillan and a sister, Margot Rottenberger. Erika is survived by her children, Preston (Ann) Stafford, Noel (Janie) Stafford, Marilyn (Terry) Skaggs, Carolyn (Ray) Parsons, Cheryl Sharp; 13 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. Service will be held on Monday, December 24, 2018 at 10 am at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City, Florida. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to World Witness.
