Gabriel L. “Gabe” Tschida of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Sunday, January 27, 2019.

He was born in Mandan, North Dakota. His parents were Lawrence and Rose Tschida.

Gabe attended school in Ft. Rice, North Dakota and in 1957-1959 served in the United States Army.

In 1963, Gabe married Carlene (Sterna) Tschida and they were married 55 years. Gabe and Carlene have 2 children, David Tschida and Carol Tschida. In December 1965 Gabe moved his family to Babson Park, Florida. He managed Powers Apiaries before starting his own business Tschida Apiaries. David runs the Beekeeping Business and Carol is a Colonel in the United States Army. Gabe was a Beekeeper for over 30 years. Gabe leaves his wife and children and several distant family members. Also he leaves 5 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and numerous family members.

A small family and friends gathering will be held Friday, February 1, 2019 from 11:00 AM until service time at 12:00PM at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home. Interment will be held at the Lake Wales Cemetery.
