Garrett McKenzie of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Thursday, June 21, 2018 at the Lake Wales Medical Center.

He was born July 29, 1971 in Lake Wales, Florida. He has been a lifelong resident of the area except during the time he served as a Pastor. He was a Youth Pastor and worked throughout Florida. Impact Church was his family Church. Garrett loved his family, being a Youth Pastor and the Florida Gators.

Survivors include his wife of 25 years Christina McKenzie, daughter Lael McKenzie of Lake Wales, FL, son Jeremiah McKenzie of Lake Wales, FL, daughter Danielle Bates (Allen) and children Moriah Bennett and William Bennett of Winter Haven, FL, Janetta Williams (Alan) of Nashville, TN, father Ronnie McKenzie Sr. and mother Joani McKenzie of Dahlonega, GA, sisters Tammy McKenzie of SC, Lori Connell (Travis) of Lake Wales, FL, brother Ronnie McKenzie Jr. (Amanda) of Dahlonega, GA, sister Jessica McKenzie of Lake Wales, FL, many nieces and nephews.

A memorial cookout will be held on July 4th at the family residence.
