RICHARD’S OBITUARY

U.S. Veteran 

Richard Allen Brundage, I, 84, of Frostproof, passed away at Florida Hospital Heartland in Sebring on Thursday, December 27.

He was born on February 16, 1934 in Kalamazoo, MI to the late Maxwell Charles Allen and Edith Lovina (Hall) Brundage.

He moved to the Frostproof area 21 years ago coming from Miami. He was an entrepreneur who did many things in his life including owning a hotel in Jacksonville Beach, and working for the US Postal Service as a Letter Carrier. He served his country in the US Army during the Korean conflict as a Cryptographer. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

He is preceded in death by his son, Richard Allen Brundage, II.

Survivors include his wife of 60 + years, Jean Brundage of Frostproof; his daughter Angela Babette Brundage of Frostproof; and two granddaughters, Trisha Kathryn Brundage Jordan and Brittany Alexandria Brundage Nowak.

A service will be held on Friday, February 22, 2019 at 1:00 PM at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell where he will receive military honors.
