Victor Ackim, 81, of Winter Haven, Florida passed away on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at his residence.
Born to Thomas and Victoria Cornela Ackim on November 15, 1936 in Cleveland, OH he moved to Winter Haven in 1997. He was a veteran of the US Army, serving in Korea, and was of the Catholic Faith. Victor was a retired Pipefitter with Union Local 120 in Cleveland, OH and retired in 1995. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish.
Victor was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Thomas Ackim and a sister, Elizabeth Ackim.
He is survived by: his wife of 53 years, Rose; his beloved daughter, Tracy Marie Ackim of Brunswick, OH; three grandchildren, Justin, Andrew and Michael; and his devoted nephews and nieces, Rick, Kevin, Thomas, Brian, Lisa and Kim, Donald and Anthony and Lisa on his wife’s side of the family; and his best buddies, Tom Fagen and Ray Lints.
