Walter W. Wiernik, 96 of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Monday, October 30, 2017 at Vitas Hospice.

He was born September 9, 1921 in Buffalo, New York to the late Henry and Sophia
( Hojn) Wiernik and he has been a resident of this area since 1995 moving here from Buffalo. He was a retired Woodworker and of the Catholic Faith. Walter was an Army/Air Force WWII Veteran.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Wiernik in December of 2005; sisters, Jean Wiernik, Jane Wiernik, Sandra Dudek and Florence Vacanti; brothers, Richard, Matthew and Edward Wiernik.

Survivors include his daughter, Suzanne Campbell (Ron) of Babson Park; brother, Jerry Wiernik of Oldsmar, Florida; 2 grandchildren.
