Weldon A. Vanzant, Jr. of Winter Haven, FL passed away Thursday, August 2, 2018. He was 72. A native of Winter Haven, born August 10, 1945 to Weldon Vanzant, Sr. and Olene Nolen Vanzant, Weldon moved back to this area from Kentucky several years ago, where he was an Electrician for Logan Aluminum. Weldon enjoyed fishing, and owning and tinkering on fast cars.
Weldon was preceded in death by his father, and his brother Ronnie Vanzant. He is survived by his sons: Jamie Vanzant (Felicity Ryder) of Davenport, FL, and Alan Vanzant of Bloomingdale, NY; his daughter Stephanie Law of Russellville, Ky; and his brother Tony Vanzant (Wilma) of Auburndale, FL, and his mother Olene Vanzant of Winter Haven. He also leaves behind 7 grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10AM to 12 Noon at Oak Ridge Funeral Care. Funeral services will follow at 12 noon from the funeral home chapel. Interment will be at Auburndale Memorial Park. Condolences to the family can be sent to: www.oakridgefuneralcare.com.
