Barbara H. “Barb” Hope of Lake Wales passed away Thursday, September 17, 2020 at the Palms of Sebring.

She was born January 23, 1936 in Pennsylvania to the late Michael and Matilda Tomko; she came here from New Jersey in 2003. Barb was a retired customer service representative at First National Bank which later became Wells Fargo in New Jersey. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and taking care of her home; she was of the catholic faith.

Barb is survived by her husband of 63 years, Earl Hope; daughters, Cheryl Sweder and husband Michael of Manning, South Carolina, and Vicky Hulse and husband Bob of New Jersey; son, Robert Hope of Eddison, New Jersey; two grandchildren, Timothy and Lauren; and two great-grandchildren, Sydney and Ryder.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at 9:30am until 10:30am at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home. Services will be private family only.  Inurnment will be held at a later date at the Sarasota National Cemetery.
