Beth Pitman

Beth Pitman of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Thursday, August 11, 2016 at the Grove Center.

She was born December 25, 1935. Her parents were Joseph L. and Frances E. (Harchbarger) Kinzie. She has been a resident of the area since 1943 coming from Virginia. She was a Medical Secretary and of the Baptist Faith.

She is preceded in death by her husband Gene Pitman and grandson Micah Pitman.

She is survived by her daughters Susie McGill and husband Rick of Lake Wales, FL, Francy Bass and husband (Marvin) of Lakeland, FL, son Jay Pitman and wife Jan of Babson Park, FL, brothers Dr. Joseph Kinzie and wife Mary of St. Claire Shores, MI, Peter Kinzie of Inverness, FL, 9 grandchildren Matt (Dorian), Meagan, Lauren (Eric), Kaley, Anna, Seth, Josh, Jonah, and 2 great grandchildren Hudson and Mary Claire.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 17, 2016 from 9:30 AM until service time at 10:00AM at the First Baptist Church in Lake Wales with Dr. Scott Markley and Pastor Barry Hooten officiating. Interment will be held at Lake Wales Cemetery.
