She was born on July 19, 1934 in Chancellor, Alabama to Frank M. and Ruby L. Woodard Myers, she moved to Haines City in 1943 from Jacksonville, Florida. Christine owned and operated Christine’s Furniture Inc. in Haines City for 30 plus years and attended Haines City Church of God as well as Grenelefe River of Life Worship Center. Some of her hobbies included, camping, traveling, going fishing and she truly enjoyed going to yard sales and auctions. Christine loved to spend time with her family and friends, especially the grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her parents; husband, Hubert M. Baker; brother, Leland Myers and sister, Dorothy Forrester. Christine is survived by her sons, Hubert Earl Baker of Winter Haven, Florida, Garry Len Baker and wife, Claudia of Kissimmee, Florida; daughter, Sheila Cotton and husband, Ronnie of Haines City; brother, Louie Frank “Buck” Myers of Haines City; six grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

A visitation will be at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, followed by a graveside service at Forest Hill Cemetery in Haines City at 11:00 am.
