Clifford “Cliff” Owen Cofer II

Clifford O. “Cliff” Cofer, II of Winter Haven, Florida passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2016 in Lakeland, Florida.
He was born on December 3, 1988 in Avon Park, Florida to Clifford Owen and Cynthia Sue (Reese) Cofer and he has been a lifelong resident of this area. He was a Firefighter with Sumter County. Cliff enjoyed fishing, hunting, spending time with his family and friends and he was dedicated to his work. He was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Willard A. Reese; uncle, Darryl Cofer.

Survivors include his parents, Clifford and Cindy Cofer of Frostproof; brother, Clay Cofer of Frostproof; maternal grandmother, Mary Reese of Lakeland; Paternal Grandparents, John and Hazel Cofer of Frostproof; uncles, Rick Reese and Willard Reese of Lakeland; aunt, Cheryl Hadden of Frostproof.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at the First Baptist Church of Frostproof with Rev. Kelly Galati and Rev Darrol Hood officiating. Interment will be held at the Silver Hill Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Monday, August 8, 2016 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the First Baptist Church.
