Dudley V. Guy of Babson Park, Florida passed away Monday, January 22, 2018 at his residence following a short illness.

He was born October 19, 1931 in Mendes, Georgia to the late George and Wilma (Deloach) Guy. He came to this area in 1960. Dudley was a retired veteran of the United States Army serving 22 years in Korea and Viet Nam, after retiring from the Army he was a Federal Department of Ag Inspector for 23 years and a Florida Department of Ag Inspector for 18 years.

He was a Master Mason in Lodge 242 in Lake Wales, member of American Legion, VFW, enjoyed returning to his hometown of Mendes to visit family and loved spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years Inge Guy, children Dale Guy and wife Angela of Glennville, GA, Debra Benton and husband Terry of Glennville, GA, Renee Guy of Babson Park, FL, Robert Guy of Babson Park, FL, Heidi Fennell and husband Alan of Macon, GA, 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Memorial service will be held 10:00 AM Friday, February 2, 2018 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home. Inurnment will follow at the Florida National Cemetery with full military honors.
