Fannie Mae Colson, age 88, of Bartow, FL, died Thursday, August 4, 2016, in Virginia Beach, VA. She was a member of the Mt. Olive Freewill Baptist Church of Bartow.

She is survived by four daughters: Regina (Lorenzo) L. Hobbs, Virginia Beach, VA, Harriett Smith, Rochester, NY, Loretta Colson, Virginia Beach, VA, Sharyn (Lucker) K. Achille, Rochester, NY; four sons: Voydee (Nanda) Smith, Woodbridge, VA, Henry Smith, Rochester, NY, Keenan Colson, Lake Wales, FL, Isaac (Shundal) Colson, Jacksonville, FL, three sisters: Lindsaey Sims, Bartow, FL, Anna (Ben) Lawson, Detroit, MI, Ida Mae Sims, Winter Haven, FL; and two brothers: Theodore Sims, Winter Haven, FL, and Ronald (Bonnie) Sims, Winter Haven, FL.

Arrangements are being handled by Gause Funeral Home, 625 S. Holland Parkway, Bartow, FL where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Friday, August 12, 2016. Funeral service will be at Mt. Olive Freewill Baptist Church of Bartow at 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 13, 2016.

Interment will be at Wildwood Cemetery, Bartow, FL.
