He was born January 24, 1967 in New Jersey to James and Mary Perkins; he came here from Fort Lauderdale 20 years ago. James was a Forklift Driver for Florida’s Natural.

James was proceeded in death by his father, James Perkins. He is survived by his wife, Candace Perkins; sons, Jason Stellato of Lake Wales, and Christopher Swackhamer of Austin, Texas; mother, Mary Perkins of Ocala;  sisters, Denise, Angela, and Paige; brothers, Dominic and Vinnie; and four grandchildren.
