Obituary for Jeanette B Beasley

Davenport- Jeanette Bryant Beasley, 75, was called home to be with the Lord on November 27, 2018. Jeanette was born in Lakeland, Florida on June 26th, 1943. She was a devout Christian, beloved Wife, cherished Mother, doting Grandmother and Mom to many. Jeanette was a faithful, dedicated and unwavering wife of 49 years to the late Earl Beasley. She spent her life nurturing not only her children, but any child that made their way on to her front porch. She was not just Mom, she was “Ma Beasley.”
Jeanette was proceeded in death by her husband Earl Beasley, her mother Dorothy Waters , father Jack Bryant and step-father Odell Waters. She is survived by her four children, William Beasley of Davenport, Kenneth Beasley (LeeAnne) of Dundee, Amanda Keen of Haines City and Betsy Pynes (Robbie) of Davenport; two sisters, Patricia Grubbs and Sandra Teague both of Winter Haven. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Jeanette devoted her life to serving the Lord as a member of the Central Church of Christ in Haines City. In addition to her Church involvement, she spent countless hours hosting family gatherings, spoiling grandchildren, coaching and cheering on ball teams and being a port in the storm for those in need. As the matriarch of the Beasley family, Jeanette was the cornerstone foundation of what a Mother, Wife, Grandmother and most importantly, Servant of the Lord should be. She is the ever-present epitome of a truly formidable woman.
Service will be held, Saturday, December 1st at Oak Ridge Funeral Home, 1001 East Grace Avenue Haines City, Florida. Viewing held from 2:30 – 3:00; funeral will proceed at 3:00. Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Haines City, Florida.
