John J. Flowers, 82, of Winter Haven, FL passed away on August 10, 2020.

He was born in Licking County Ohio on October 5, 1937 to the late Charles Flowers and Pauline Reed Flowers.

On June 14, 1955 John married his high school sweetheart Betty Cunningham in Connersville, IN.

John worked at Kaiser Aluminum in Newark, OH and was transferred to Kaiser Aluminum in Jacksonville, Fl. in 1971, relocating his family to the Clay county area. He retired after 37 years from Rexam Beverage Cans (originally Kaiser Aluminum).

John enjoyed golfing, fishing, camping and spending time with his family. Loved chewing tobacco and having an occasional cigar.

John will be loved and missed by his surviving daughter Cristi Cannon (Arty) of Jacksonville, FL, son John Flowers II of Winter Haven, FL, son Scott Flowers (Sheila) of Suwannee FL, grandchildren Cory Cannon of Jacksonville FL,  Alicia Venable(Micah), and Amanda Flowers of Walkertown, NC., and great grandson Greyson.

Services will be held at Jacksonville Memory Gardens in Orange Park, FL,  at later time.

In lieu of Flowers the family ask that donations be made to the American Cancer Society or Donald J. Trump 2020 Presidential Campaign!!
