LORI’S OBITUARY
Lori Ann (Brosemer) Lawrence, of Davenport FL went home to be with the Lord Jesus, on Friday, 29 January 2021, as a result of recurrent breast cancer. She was born on 27 November 1964 in Rome, NY. At the age of four, she was adopted and loved by George and Betty Brosemer of Deerfield NY, and became the sibling to brothers David, Wayne, Jeff, Todd and Jon.As a young girl she enjoyed cheerleading, softball, and spending all her summers at her family camp in Old Forge, NY. After graduating from Whitesboro High in 1982, she enrolled in Herkimer County Community College. It was here that she met the love of her life, Dale H. Lawrence of Ilion, NY.

Lori and Dale were married on 21 January 1984, in the years following they were blessed with a son and two daughters. Lori’s love of her life may have been her husband but if you asked her, she would tell you that her 1st love was her relationship with Jesus Christ. Lori’s life was devoted to spreading her love and care to everyone, in every way possible. Over the course of their 37 years of marriage: Lori, was a voluntary substitute teacher at Finger-lakes Christian School, launched an in-home day care business providing care for many families, was a home-school mom to her three children and culminating in their successful graduation. She became a certified foster parent welcoming three children in her home and served as a teacher of Children’s Church. Moving to Herkimer, NY, Lori and her husband founded Harvest Hills Baptist Church, ministering to the local community for seven years and sharing the gospel of Salvation. During these years, she also worked as a delivery driver for Meals on Wheels, assisted in the care of her aging mother and father, and then to her husband’s mother and father as well.

Upon the blessing of grandchildren, Lori and Dale decided to move to Florida to be near their family. It was here that Lori found great satisfaction working as a Cast Member at Walt Disney World Resort. These past eight years she developed close, meaningful relationships with her fellow Cast Members.

If Lori wasn’t around her children, grandkids, or friends, you would find her as an active member in her local fellowship, Cornerstone Church, taking motorcycle excursions with her husband, crocheting many blankets, enjoying a large cup of coffee (woohoo!), traveling to all 50 states, finding a reason to drive her truck, Blue Bell, rooting for her favorite teams, the Dallas Cowboys and Atlanta Braves. Finally, with deep pride she looked for every opportunity to show her love for her country and those who have served.

If you had the pleasure of meeting Lori, you would know that it was her absolute joy to help anyone who was in need. Her genuine happiness and overflowing love were evident with every interaction. But her kindness did not stop there. Lori would attest that her greatest accomplishments were her children and their children, her many grandchildren. No matter who you were, from the mailman to the grocery store clerk, the cashier to the random encounter, Lori was proud to tell you all about her family, her life.

Lori is survived by her husband Dale, son Daniel and wife Zoey Lawrence, daughter Melissa and husband Chris Fehringer, daughter Sarah and husband Jose Vidal. Also, her beloved grandchildren; Antonio, Zachary, Bella, Joshua, Hailey and baby Michael. In addition; she will forever be remembered by her five brothers, their spouses, Dale’s brother and three sisters, their spouses, 22 nieces and nephews combined, great-nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and her innumerable loving friends. She will truly be missed by all.

Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Thursday, February 4th, at 101 Cornerstone Church Place, Davenport, FL 33897. Wake begins 11:00am, followed by a funeral service, 12:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, it was Lori’s wish for donations be made to any of the following charities: Compassion International, Wounded Warriors Project, or Samaritans Purse.

“Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all.” Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. – Pro 31:29,30
