Margaret ( Maggie)’s Obituary

Margaret “Maggie” Brown Hertzog, 76Margaret ” Maggie” Hertzog of Frostproof passed away Sunday, April 19, 2020 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Sebring with her loving husband at her side and her awesome health aid of three-and one-half years Mrs. Kitty Riggins of Frostproof.

She was born September 10, 1943 in Richlands, Virginia, to the late William and Margaret Brown. She was a homemaker. Maggie served in the Army from 1976-1986, with the rank of E-5 SGT, her husband served in the Navy from 1960-1968.

She enjoyed watching soap operas, and was a Nascar fan, rooting for Dale Earnhardt Jr. She was proud of her military service and was celebrating 34 years sober with AA.

 

Maggie is survived by her husband of 27 years, Phillip “Phil” Hertzog; and brother Jimmy Brown of Brighton, Tennessee; niece Mrs. Shelly Delenbeck of Janesville, Wisconsin and two nephews Tony Brown of TN and Dwayne Brown.
