Richard S. Weiss, 79 of Winter Haven, Florida passed away Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Astoria Health and Rehab Center in Winter Haven.
He was born April 15, 1936 in Paterson, New Jersey to the late David and Jean (Greengrass) Weiss. He was the Owner/Operator of his Engraving Company. He has been a resident of the area since 2005 coming from Connecticut. He was in the United States Navy and attended Temple Beth-Shalom.

He is preceded in death by his first wife Judith Weiss.

He is survived by his wife Sybil Weiss, step sons Barry Zalcman (Sharon) of Glastonbury, CT, Mark Zalcman (Christy) of Manchester, CT, sister Regina Rheinstein (Robert) of Manhattan, NY, 6 step grandchildren Laura, Michael, Hailey, Morgan, Chelsea, and Katie, 3 nephews Jon (Laura), Philip (Aliah), and Daniel , 2 great nephews Jacob and Zak and 2 great nieces Carolyn and Diana.

Memorial service will be held at a later date at Lake Ashton.
