Robert “Bob” Cook, 82 of Lake Wales, Florida passed away on January 10, 2018 at Grace Healthcare.

He was born in Elmodel, Georgia on September 20, 1935 to William Enos Cook and Carrie (Miller)Cook.
Bob graduated from Auburndale High School in the class of 1954. He married Eleanor Anne Pugh on February 21, 1960. They were married for 51 years when Anne passed away in 2011. Bob had a long successful career as a financial advisor for A.G. Edwards and Sons in Winter Haven, He was also a dedicated family man and a faithful member of the Lake Wales Church of Christ.

Bob is preceded in death by his father, mother, brother and wife.

He is survived by son Rob (Sharon) Cook of Athens, Alabama, daughter Betsy (Greg) Paradise of Winter Haven, Florida, son J. Matthew Cook of Lake Wales, Florida, daughter Holly (Todd) Sears of Lady Lake, Florida, six grandchildren Joshua Cook, Hannah Cook, Amy Wininger, Jakob Cook, Jackson Cook, Parker Cook. He is also survived by brother Jerry Cook of Frostproof, Florida and sister Doris Mehaffey Brown of Winter Haven, Florida.

Visitation will be held Monday, January 15, 2018 from 6:00-7:00 PM at Marion Nelson Funeral Home with Funeral service 1:00 PM Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at Church of Christ Lake Wales with interment at Lake Wales Cemetery. If you wish a live plant may be sent to the family in his honor.
