He was born September 29, 1942 at Byrdstown, Tennessee to the late Raymond Henry and Clarice (Ammonette) Neal and he has been a resident of this area for over 30 years moving here from Martinsville, Indiana. He was a retired Computer Operator for General Motors. Roger was a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church and he served in the US Air Force.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Rose Ann Neal and brother, Hugh Neal.
