Obituary for Troy Stewart
Troy Stewart
December 9, 1953 – December 10, 2018
So many lives have been touched by Troy Stewart, he came into my Mom, Dottie Stewart’s life when I was at the age of 16 approximately, and my brother, David was 9. He took the role of Father to us as if we were his own. He didn’t have any natural born children, but David and I consider him our Father. Troy loved our Mother unconditionally as he did us as his children.
Troy was a man that loved to fish and hunt and tinker around fixing things.
Only until a few years ago did I come to realize the Green thumb he had! He could grow anything into the most beautiful plant or flower or fruit you’ve ever seen! He took my husband and I through his yard of wonderful plant life that I’ve ever seen!! Explaining every flower, fruit, and plant to us. I was so amazed!
A fond memory I have of Troy is that whenever our family would have get togethers, as everyone would be sleeping in the mornings, he would be the first one up and would clean everything up outside by the lake and fire, always taking care of us! He would show up to family functions, quietly, to not have any attention on himself! Troy was the type to give you anything he had, help you with anything you need, never wanting anything back!
Troy loved to live life and help others, he loved to make you laugh and do outdoors things.
He always wanted my Mom to be happy and to experience life! He loved his Grand Children so much! He loved to hug them and love them and teach them.
He was a selfless man, only wanting to help others. I know that he is home now with his Daddy and Mama and family and friends that have left us, looking down upon us smiling and not in any pain! We love you Troy! You will be missed but the things you taught us and shared with us will live in our hearts and memories forever! I love You!
