William Clarence “Billy” Struthers, Sr. 80
William Clarence “Billy” Struthers of Lake Wales passed away Thursday, February 27, 2020 at his residence.

He was born January 8, 1940 in Winter Haven, FL to the late James and Evelyn Struthers. He was retired from Florida Concrete Pipe Corp, was of the Baptist faith and served in the National Guard.
Billy was preceded in death by his wife, Rosa Struthers; daughter, Jody Welch; son-in-law, Randy Welch; and brother, Leonard Struthers.

Survivors include his daughter, Virginia Luke of Dundee; sons, William K. “Billy” Struthers (Regina) of Lake Wales, Anthony “Tony” (Donna) Struthers of Astatula, David Struthers (Tiffany) of Dundee, William C. Struthers, Jr. (Tammy) of Dundee, Bobby Struthers (Anna) of Dundee; sister, Catherine Pearson of Lakeland; 20 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Billy was also survived by his loving caregiver, Jeni Smith and her son Dillon.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 7, 2020 at South Side Baptist Church with Pastor Michael Arms officiating. Interment will follow at Silver Hill Cemetery in Frostproof. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Good Shephard Hospice (450 Arneson Ave, Auburndale, FL 33823).
