Ms. Betty Jean Stable (Burk) of Orlando, FL went to be with her Heavenly Father on the morning of January 22, 2018. She was 85.

Betty was born in Hamilton, Ohio to Ardie and Mittie (Dermon) Burk where she was raised with her 14 siblings. Her Father was a Barber, and her Mother was a Homemaker who helped run the family grocery store.

Betty moved from Hamilton, Ohio to Orlando, Florida where she followed in her Father’s footsteps and went to cosmetology school and became a Beautician.

Later in her career she decided to go back to school and train to become a switchboard operator. She took that knowledge and began a long career in customer service at Pepsi Cola, from where she retired in 1999.

Betty enjoyed making crafts throughout her life, but as she aged her hobby became her family. She had a strong Faith and wanted nothing more than for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren to know and have a relationship with the Lord.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents; Ardie and Mittie Burk, siblings; Charles (Arlie) Burk of Hamilton, OH, Hilda Friedman of Orlando, FL, Anna Belle (Clark) Moore of New Smyrna Beach, FL, Christine (Harry) Helton of Oviedo, FL, Virgie (Silas) Abrams of Orlando, FL, Ruth (Bob) Figg of Hamilton, OH, Mary Lou (Warren) Jones of Orlando, FL, Ada (Paul) Davis of Middleton, OH, Emma (Charles) Cottonwood of Three Rivers, CA and her Granddaughter, Jamie Lynn Campbell.
She is survived by her Siblings; Orville Burk of Hamilton, OH, Lola (Walt) Wooten of Ventura, CA
Her Son; Randall (Debbie) Heitzman of Marietta, GA; Grandchildren, Christopher and Davis;
Daughter, Becky (Al) Oestreich of Orlando, FL; Grandchildren, Angela; Great Grandchildren, Brianna, Alissa, Jeremey, Hailee and Averie;
Daughter, Lisa Stable of Orlando, FL; Grandchildren, Isaiah, Zack;
Daughter, Crystal (Darren) Van Alstine of Satellite Beach, FL; Grandchildren, Morgan (Calvin), Allie and Noah, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that she considered family.

Visitation will be on Saturday, January 27, 2018 from 2:30 pm until the funeral at 3:30 pm at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City, FL.
Burial will follow service at Forest Hill Cemetery in Haines City, FL.
