Agnes’ Obituary
Agnes Pearl Creed Neihof went home to heaven on the morning of April 24, 2020 as the sun came up. Agnes was born in Cranberry, West Virginia on December 10, 1935 to Clarence Ruthven Creed and Ressie Trump Creed in a coal camp house owned by the Cranberry Mine where her father worked.As a teenager, Agnes attended Mt. Carmel High School and the Kentucky Mountain Bible Institute in Vancleve, Kentucky before going on to Asbury College in Wilmore, Kentucky where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. After graduation she married Eldon Neihof and returned to Breathitt County to work at Mt. Carmel High School where she served for over sixty years.

Agnes was perfectly content to be in the background supporting her husband’s ministry.  She also loved her family deeply and enjoyed all the aspects of making a happy home.

Agnes was preceded in death by her daughter, Marcia Kay Warren in 2018, and son, John Eldon Neihof, Jr in 2019.  She is survived by her husband of 61 years, John Eldon Neihof; daughter, Mary Ann Brantley (Bryan) of Dundee; son, James Raymond Neihof (Dorenda) of Simpsonville, Kentucky; daughter-in-law Beth Neihof; son-in-law Brian Warren; sisters Ruth Ann Cooper, Rebecca Worley, Georgia Babbitt, and Betty Bryant; nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and a hosts of nieces and nephews.
