Argentino’s Obituary
Argentino M. Ramos, 75, of Davenport, FL passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at Cornerstone Hospice in Clermont, FL. He was born on October 8, 1944 in San Juan, Argentina to Antolin Del Rosario Ramos and Paula Luz Espinosa. Argentino and his wife, Aurelia moved to Davenport from Towns River, NJ on June 1, 2017. He was the owner/operator of R&L Trucking Company for 30+ years, until his retirement and he attended the Mary Mother of God Church in Hillsborough, NJ, where he served as usher.

In his younger years, he loved to entertain his family by playing guitar and singing. He enjoyed family BBQs, yard sales, and watching television like western movies, black and white movies, and his favorite show “Tom & Jerry”. Argentino loved his family, especially his grandchildren and spoiled each one of them when he could. He had a passion for sports and enjoyed soccer and watching his favorite teams, the NY Giants and NY Yankees. His family remembers him as a very loving, sociable, caring, outgoing, fighter, and a great father and grandfather.

He is preceded in death by his parents. Argentino leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife, of 49 ½ years, Aurelia; son, Jonathan Ramos and fiancé, Tracy Crowley of Manville, NJ; daughters, Jenny Oravec and husband, Joseph of Winter Haven, FL and Daisy Zarazua and husband, German of Davenport, FL; sisters, Rosa Gonzalez and Ramona Ramos; grandchildren, Edson, Charles, Matthew, Kayla and Angel.

Visitation will be held Friday, June 12, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. until the service at 6:00 p.m. all at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City with Deacon Orestes Hernandez officiating. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
