Barbara “Frogette” Oberts

Barbara S. “Frogette” Oberts, 76, of Winter Haven, FL passed away on August 2, 2016 at the Winter Haven Hospital.
Born January 8, 1940 in Detroit, MI to Oliver and Ethel Groves, she was homemaker.
She is preceded in death by: her parents, 2 brothers, Junior and Kenneth; sisters, Karen and Dorothy; and her little baby boy, Patrick.
She loved people, always smiled, was always understanding, loved timeshares, fishing, dancing, being with her husband or just holding hands. She loved her family, friends, her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She could tip a few if need be and she will be sorely missed.
She is survived by: her loving husband of 24 years, Don ‘Froggy”; her daughters, Debie (Cliff) Gurkin and Dawn (Roy) Williams; her brothers, Gary and Doug; her grandchildren, Crystal (Chris) Strickland, Leana Chadwick, Anthony Beem-Powell and Kahia Williams; and her great grandchildren, Darren, Wendy, Layla and Owen.
