Barbara M. Adams, 83, of Haines City, Florida passed away on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at her residence. Born on January 29, 1935 in Miami, Florida to the late Herbert and Agnes Heimer. Barbara moved to Haines City, Florida, 45 years ago from Miami, Florida, worked for 30 years as a seamstress making wedding dresses and an active member of St. Ann Catholic Church.

Barabara was kind, thoughtful, generous and with a good sense of humor. She enjoyed life, never met a stranger and helped many people along her life’s way. Barbara loved sewing, going to church, reading and spending time with her great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, of 49 years, Lionel Adams and sons, Daniel and David Adams. Barbara is survived by her son, Donald Adams; daughter, Diane Barnes both of Haines City, FL; brother, Donald Adams of Haines City, FL; grandson, Ryan Barnes; two great grandchildren, Matthew and Ryan Jr.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, November 30, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Oak Ridge Funeral Care and the Funeral Mass will be on Saturday, December 1st, 2018 at St. Ann Catholic Church in Haines City, FL. Interment will followed at Forest Hill Cemetery in Haines City, FL.
