Brent’s Obituary
Brent Lee Roberts, 62, of Haines City, Florida passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on June 16, 2020. Brent was born on April 26, 1958 to Walter and L. Joan (French) Roberts of Clio, Michigan.

As an ambitious young man, he earned his Diesel Mechanical degree from Mid-Michigan Community College at the age of 21.

He moved to Florida in 1986 and worked as head mechanic for Rinker/Cemex. He then moved for a short time to Morristown, Tennessee. As he realized he wanted to be closer to his family, he returned to Florida. Brent enjoyed fishing, water sports and loved buying one man’s junk and turning it into another’s treasure. There was nothing he couldn’t fix and if there was a card game to be played, he would be the first to sit at the table. He loved to talk with family and friends for hours on end.

He will be lovingly missed by his mother, L. Joan Roberts of Farewell, MI; daughter, Karrie Jones and husband, Kirk of Haines City, FL; grandchildren, Matt Jones and wife, Danielle and great grandchildren, Bailey, McKenzie and Skylar Jones, all of Lake Alfred, FL; Tobie Jones of St Cloud, FL; Lee Dobbs and wife, Riley of Haines City, FL; Kurtis Dobbs and wife, Yeli of Haines City, FL and Jadyn Jones of Haines City, FL; sister, Penny Worth and husband, Mike of Lake, MI; niece, Jennifer Brennan, great niece, Caerra, both of Lake Hamilton, FL and nephew, Preston Worth of Weidman, MI.

He was welcomed into heaven with open arms from his father, Walter and younger sister, Jeanette Roberts and of course his best friend, Tanner.

A celebration of Brent’s life will be on June 27, 2020 with the family.
