Clifford H. “Billy” “Tiger Paw” Brooks of Frostproof, Florida passed away Thursday, May 9, 2019 at the Grove Center in Lake Wales, Florida.

He was born June 20, 1927 in Etowah County, Alabama to the late Euther A. and Thelma M. (Silvey) Brooks. He has been a resident of the area since the age of 18 coming from Boaz, Alabama. He was a retired Mechanic for Alico, Inc. he also worked for Murdock Sullivan Gas Station, and a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his 1st wife Nora Mae Brooks, 2nd wife Dorothy M. Brooks, daughter Shelia Brooks Chatlos, brothers Bobby Brooks and Jack Brooks.

Survivors include 2 grandchildren Amanda Rae Smock and husband D.J., Brandi Sanchez and husband Gerardo Jr., 4 great grandchildren Caleb, Cassie, Cory, Brooke, 1 great-great grandchild Liliona and son in law Ray Chatlos.
