Connie Long of Lake Wales passed away Monday June 13th, 2016 at home surrounded by her family after a long battle with Cancer. She was born May 13th,1963 to Jean Taylor and the late Allen Herrod both of Lake Wales.

Connie was loved by all she met and had a spunky personality. She loved to ride her motorcycle, spending time with her grandkids, gardening around the house and going to the beach.

She is preceded in death by her father Allen Herrod, stepfather JerryTaylor, maternal grandparents Doc & Elsie McDaniel paternal grandparents Charlie & Bertha Barnes all of Lake Wales.

Survivors include her loving husband.. Jeff Long of Lake Wales. Sons.. Cole Hebel, Cale Hebel and Gavin Long of Lake Wales. Mother.. Jean Taylor of Lake Wales, brother.. Jimmy Herrod of Elwood Indiana, sisters.. Donna Herrod of Lake Wales, Cindy Sanford of Davenport, Chyrl Mellon  (Mike) of Winter Haven. Stepbrother Tim Taylor  (Mary) of Lake Wales, stepsister Marie Delong of Charleston South Carolina and three beautiful granddaughters Aaliyah, Makayla and Shayla.

The family would like to invite friends to join them at the service at 11 a.m. on Saturday June 18th 2016 at GM HT Hunting Preserve 2285 Boy Scout Road Lake Wales Florida 33898. This will include dinner and fellowship.
