She was born May 10, 1955 in Winter Haven to the late Marcus and Gertrude Hall; she was a lifelong resident of the area. She was a retired school bus driver for the Polk County School Board and of the Baptist faith. She was an avid reader, enjoyed watching TV, but most important was her family and grandkids.

Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Dale L. Medlock; daughter, Angel Hayes (Joel) of Lake Wales; son, Bubba Medlock (Jenny Gilbert) of Babson Park; sisters, Florence Summerall of Mulberry, Joann Summerall (Jimbo) of Mulberry and Pinky Nichols of Lake Wales; ten grandchildren, Jordyn Medlock, Kenny Medlock, Chase Croft, Skye Croft, Hunter Hayes, Anthony “AJ” Hayes, Logan Cornelius, Anna Gilbert, Nick Gilbert and Ben Gilbert; one great-granddaughter, Savannah Medlock.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales with Dale Hayes officiating. Interment will follow at the Lake Wales Cemetery.
