Doris N. Wilson, 90, of Polk City, FL passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2020 in Lakeland.
Born November 9, 2020 in Florala, FL she moved here over 65 years ago and retired from Macy’s in Winter Haven. She was a member of the Edgewood Church of Christ in Lakeland, and enjoyed shopping, gardening, Cooking, flowers and especially her family. She will be dearly missed.

She is preceded in death by: her husband, H.L. “Lowell” Wilson, her parents, Walter Hoover and Sallie Mitchell Hoover; a brother, Walter Hoover, Jr.; and a sister, Frances Agerton.

Doris is survived by: two children, Boyd Wilson and his wife, Lesta and Paula Penna and her husband, Michael; four grandchildren, Daniel Wilson, Michelle Foster and her husband Brett, Ashley Johnson and her husband, Troy and Lance Penna; two great grandsons, Hunter Childs and Parker Childs; and a sister, Betty Jo Cook.

The family will receive friends from 9:00am till 10:00am, Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven, services will follow at 10:00am. Interment will follow at Lakeside Memorial Park.
