Edward’s Obituary
Edward C. Sever, 79, of Lake Wales, FL, passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2020 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale, FL.

He was born on December 31, 1940 in Detroit, MI to Charles T. and Jessie Munger-Sever. Edward worked for the citrus industry for 34 years, until his retirement in 2003.

Edward enjoyed his time, playing with his grandchildren and watching Western shows, as well as, Western movies. He presented himself as very serious and disciplined. Edward was a straightforward man who demanded little from those around him, and expected only the best for his family and was not afraid to speak his mind. He will be greatly missed by all.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Joseph L. Gavin. Edward is survived by his daughter, Sharon Albiter; and grandchildren, Hezekilah and Ofelia.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. until the service 7:00 p.m. all at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City, FL.
