She was born March 27, 1922 in Willowgrove, Pennsylvania to the late Isaac Spencer and Josephine Van Horn. She has been a resident of the area since 1974 coming from Pennsylvania. She was a retired Bank Teller. Elinor participated in the Polk County Senior Games from 1990-2001 and won 5 medals including 3 gold and 2 bronze. She traveled with her husband and has been in all 50 states plus Canada and Mexico.
She is survived by her daughters Virginia E. Nichols of Clearwater, FL, Marilyn Rahm and husband Henry of Meshappen, PA, son George M. Roeschen and wife Carol of Lake Wales, FL, 5 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great- great grandchild.

Memorial service will be held at a later date.
