Our mom, Eva Irene (Farley) Hatfield joined our dad, Herbert Hatfield, in their Heavenly Home on July 23, 2016. Heaven is more real and a lot closer.
Eva Irene was born to William and Ima Farley in Delbarton, West Virginia on October 24, 1918. She attended schools and graduated from Burch High School in Delbarton. There, she met and married Herbert Hatfield in 1937 and walked by his side, serving our Lord until his passing in 2004.
In addition to Herbert, Irene was predeceased by her parents; sisters, Chloe (Hardin, Winn), Matilda (Perry), Della (Tillinghast); brothers, Herbert, Harold Lee, Ermine, Leonard and Gaylord; granddaughters, Eva Elizabeth “Beth” Halverson, Dawn Ruth Gregory and great grandson, Elijah Samuel Halverson.
Irene is survived by her sister, Jean Lyons. She is also survived by her children, Herb (Ruth), Merilynn (Raymond) Chew, Rod (Barbara) and Paul (Judy); nine grandchildren; thirty two great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.

Interment at Forest Hill Cemetery in Haines City, Florida. A memorial service to be held at a later date.
