Harold E. “Bud” Conn, 88

Harold E. “Bud” Conn of Frostproof passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at the Somers Hospice House in Sebring.

He was born August 23, 1932 in Albany, Indiana to the late Clarence and Alma Conn; he came to Frostproof from Fort Wayne, Indiana 25 years ago. He was a retired mechanic for Craig Trucking in Albany Indiana and B&L Trucking in Ft. Wayne Indiana. Bud was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Korea. He attended Sunray Methodist Church and enjoyed traveling, playing shuffleboard, riding his bicycle, bowling, and was a nascar fan.

Bud was preceded in death by his sons, David Conn; stepson, Larry Elliot; and two sisters. Survivors include his daughter, Vicki J. Betz and husband Bruce of Shepherdsville, Kentucky; son, Rick Conn of Auburn, Indiana; sister, Betty Jeffers of Fort Wayne, Indiana; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

A service will be scheduled at a later date.
