JACK’S OBITUARY
Jack Schrecengos, 77, of Greensburg, (Formerly of Lake Wales) passed away on Saturday, November 7th following complications from heart surgery.

He was born January 12, 1943 in Carnegie, PA to the late Ward and Mary (McCarthy) Schrecengos.  Jack graduated from Carnegie High School in 1961, lived in Lake Wales, FL, and Bean Station, TN before settling in Greensburg, PA.

Jack wore many hats in life; he was a truck salesman for Dual Tech in Davenport, FL and Bean Station, TN; he worked for Ryder and was a drummer in a band that opened for several top country stars such as Tammy Wynett, and Johnny Cash.   He loved his country music, car racing, especially Nascar, and being with his friends.  People who knew Jack, loved him dearly.  He was everybody’s buddy, never met a stranger and would do anything for anyone.  He was the kindest, most gentle person, had a true heart, and would go out of his way to be helpful to others.  He had a funny sense of humor and would make others laugh. Jack will be greatly missed.

Jack is survived by several cousins, very close friends and his cat, Alley Cat.

A celebration of his life will be scheduled at a later date.
