JASON’S OBITUARY
Jason Deveron Gray“Big J”

A precious friend to many, Jason Deveron Gray, has gone home to be with his savior after battling a long illness.

Jason is survived by mother Norma Susan Livingston, father Don Livingston, his love, Lindsay Meeks,  Sister Tiffany Meyers, children Ashley Lang, Justin Gray (Christina), Lexi Gray, Lindsay’s children Kalliope and Avery, 5 grandchildren, his four legged babies Keyla and Tonka, and multiple aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jason was an avid sportsman who loved the outdoors. He competed in professional fishing tournaments, loved to hunt, and go boating. However, his passion was food.  He was an award-winning BBQ champion at many competitions. He owned JP’s Smokehouse in Wauchula, Big J’s BBQ, and Prime Oak Catering.

Jason had additional affiliations that he considered his family. The multiple hunting clubs he had joined throughout the years, The Florida Flywheelers Association, and events at mudholes held a special place in Jason’s heart. Big J will be remembered for his outgoing personality, boisterous voice, love for god, and his fighting courage up until his last day.

Viewing will be Friday, April 30th, 5-7 pm with services being Saturday May 1st at 1pm, at Oakridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven
