JOSEPH’S OBITUARY
Joseph Gilbert Belanger, 76, of Winter Haven, FL passed away on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at the Good Shepherd Hospice Forsythe Hospice House in Auburndale.Born November 13, 1944 to Arthur and Laura Belanger in Grand Falls, New Brunswick, Canada he moved to Winter Haven over 20 years ago from Connecticut.  He was of the Catholic Faith and was a member of the Winter Haven Moose Lodge.

He was preceded in death by a son, Richard Belanger, his parents, and eleven siblings.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mary Lou; three daughters, Karen Bernard and her husband Ken of Southington, CT, Kathy Atwood of Bristol, CT and Valerie Pawlicki of Winter Haven, FL; his daughter-in-law, Line Bellanger of Winter Haven; a brother, Romeo Belanger of Davenport, FL; three sisters, Carm Dionne , Lucille Albert  and Yvonne Bernier all of Canada; eight grandchildren;  nine great-grandchildren; and many niece and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00pm, Sunday, March 21, 2021 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven.  In lieu of flowers please make donations in his memory to the American Cancer Society.
