She was born February 17, 1927 in London, Kentucky to the late George Henry and Flora (Davidson) Wilson and she has been a resident of this area for 34 years moving here from Iowa. She was a retired Nurse’s Aide. Lourenia was a member of the 7^th Day Adventist Church in Fort Meade, she collected Norman Rockwell Cups, enjoyed, her God , her family, flower and vegetable gardening, crocheting, reading and search word puzzles.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Mat Watkins; parents, 4 sisters, 3 brothers and 1 granddaughter.

Survivors include her daughters, Betty Watkins Chilson  ( Robert) of Lincoln, Nebraska, Wilma Watkins Barnhart ( Ed) of Frostproof FL; sons, Frank Daryel Watkins (Donna) 0f Frostproof, FL, Willard Watkins ( Sharon Sutter) of Frostproof, FL, Brent Watkins ( Kim) Frostproof, FL; sisters, Polk Harris Dople of London, KY, Dorothy Craft ( Jack) of Barbourville, KY, Nina Pennington of London, KY; brother, Bob Wilson of London, KY; 16 grandchildren, 24 Great Grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Saturday, July 28, 2018 from 2:00 PM until service time at 3:00 PM at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home  of Frostproof with Brent Watkins Officiating. Interment will be held at the Silver Hill Cemetery.
