Margie E. Smith, 81, of Frostproof, Florida passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at her residence.
She was born November 8, 1934 in Georgia to the late William and Adelle (Hackle) Copeland. She moved here from Lake Wales, FL, 44 years ago, was a cook in the restaurant business and was of the Baptist faith.
Margie was preceded in death by her son, James Bruce Jones and five brothers and sisters. Survivors include her children, Maxine Cook and Jean Collins of Frostproof, FL; sisters, Shirley Hancock of Texas, Anita Bishop of Miami, FL and brother, William Copeland of Jacksonville, FL. She had 6 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
