NELLIE’S OBITUARY
Nellie Alligood, 85 of Winter Haven, Florida passed away Sunday September 13, 2020 at Good Shepherd Hospice. Nellie was born in Bradenton, Florida to Dennis and Sarah Howard.Nellie enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved to laugh and dance. Her hobbies included gardening and crocheting.
She was adamant in her faith. She attended Lakewood Baptist Church. She retired from the City of Haines City.

Nellie was preceded in death by her parents Dennis and Sarah Howard, husband, Clarence Alligood, son Dennis, brothers, Dewey and Tillman Howard, sisters, Pearl Whitman and Maple Mallory. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Mathis (Jimmy), son, Michael Alligood (Lisa – deceased), grandchildren, Amanda Ryan (Scott), Chris Mathis ( Amber), Shaun Mathis, Misty Alligood, David Alligood (Tabitha), Andrew Alligood, nine great-grandchildren and brother Danny Edwards.

Celebration of life to be held Saturday September 19, 2020 at 10am at Oak Ridge Funeral Home in Winter Haven.
