Haines City – Mrs. Juanita Lee Congdon passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2018.
Juanita was born on February 13, 1938 in Holopaw, FL to Jim Ellis and Rose Lee Vickers.
She started her long career of working in citrus at Holly Hill Fruit Products; where she met her loving husband, Charles, of 53 years. Together they ran Congdon Farms for many years. They raised livestock, fruit and vegetables. Juanita was in charge of running the fruit stand. She was most proud of her 8 children they raised.

Juanita was predeceased by her husband, Charles in 2009 and 6 siblings. She is survived by her 8 children, Cheryal Congdon, Charles Congdon, Jr. (Tess), Kenneth Congdon (Lisa), Pam Weed (Wayne), Pat Clark, Julie Barthle (Patrick), Eddie Congdon and Stephen Congdon; 15 grandchildren, Beth, Kathryn, Taylor, Kal, Ashley, Leigh, Ann, Brandon, Justin, Jordan, Bailey, Jacob, Zachary, Wes, Nora and Raegan; 7 great grandchildren, Gabe, Elle, Luke, Harry, Bennett, Marley and Jasper; 2 sister, Jeanette Bass and Rosa O’Neill.
The viewing will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 pm on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 and the funeral will be Thursday, February 1, 2018 at 11:00 am, all at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.
