Rollin H. Rizer Jr. 81 of Winter Haven passed on Thursday, January 18, 2018. Born in Winter Haven, FL on September 10, 1936. A proud American, Rollin served in the Army as a Colonel’s Aide at Patrick Air Force Base at the beginning of the NASA program. He also provided Escort Service to Edward R. Murrell, noted News Caster during the Space Program from 1957 to 1962. Followed by a lifetime career as a Master Electrician and owner of Rizer Electric Company. Rollin spent the remaining years of his life doing the things he loved most, including hunting, golfing, barbequing and spending time with family and friends. Those that knew Rollin will remember him as a loyal, dependable and loving man. May his love and kindness live forever in the hearts of those he touched. He is preceded in death by his parents Rollin Sr and Frances Rizer. Son Rollin “Ron” Rizer III. Brothers Butch, Kenny and sister Pat along with his beloved dog Chuckey. Rollin is survived by his wife of 27 years Emily Rizer. Sister Shirley Ezell (Bill). Aunt Libby Mykita. Daughter Christy Rizer Brown. Two step daughters Ginger Frazier Smith and Alicia Frazier Farmer (Spencer) and a step son Jeffery Frazier (Laura). Grandchildren Aaron and Taylor Brown, Jordan and Sydney Smith, Samantha Frazier, Rylee, Reece and Addison Farmer. Along with countless friends. The family will be receiving friends Saturday, Jan. 27th from 1-2pm at the Calvary Baptist Church 2101 Overlook Dr. SE Winter Haven, FL 33884. A Celebration of Life Service will start at 2pm.
