Wineetha Jayasekera of Winter Haven, FL passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2018. She was 84. A native of Kurunegale, Sri Lanka, born November 17, 1933, Wineetha moved here in 1995 from West Palm Beach, FL. She was a retired Accountant from Rich Ice Cream in West Palm Beach.

Wineetha is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Shelton Jayasekera of Winter Haven; her son Perry L. Jayasekera (Kristin Gunst) of Boston, MA; her brother Douglas Desaram, and his son Ronald Desaram (Nancy) of West Palm Beach. She also leaves behind her grandchildren: Anna and Addie Gunst.
