Opal Nance Raulerson of Lake Wales, Florida passed away, Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at the Lake Wales Medical Center.
She was born November 20, 1925 in Gate, Oklahoma to the late Frank and Maud (Harris) Nance. She has been a resident of the area since 1985 coming from Orlando, Florida. She was a Homemaker and a member of the Corinth Primative Baptist Church in Frostproof. Opal was a Girl Scout volunteer and enjoyed fishing, during World War II she was a machinist for the “Rosie The Riviter” era and was a proud member of the American Rosie the Riviter Association.
She is preceded in death by her husband Johnnie “Nick” Raulerson, daughter Sherry Maxine Raulerson.
She is survived by her daughters Janette Marie Raulerson of Sebring, FL, Marla Kay Raulerson of Lake Wales, FL, Johnnie Nichols Raulerson (Sherry) of Naples, FL, 4 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 7 great- great grandchildren.
Graveside service to be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at the Corinth Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
