Oscar R. Ireland of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Somers Hospice House in Sebring.

He was born July 17, 1931 Bridgeton, New Jersey to the late John E. and Betty (Strang) Ireland. He has been a resident of the area since 1997. He was the Facilities Manager for the Showboat Hotel and Casino and of the Episcopal faith. Oscar was a veteran in the United States Air Force serving his country from 1951-1973.

He is preceded in death by his wife Margaret M. Ireland and brother John Ireland, Jr.

He is survived by his son Scott D. Ireland (Pam) of Rochester, NY, daughter Kristina McMullen (Tim) of Lake Wales, FL, and 4 grandchildren.
